What is Laparoscopy?

Laparoscopic surgery is a way of operating inside your abdomen without a large incision. Through two or three tiny incisions, your doctor is able to operate using small cameras and surgical instruments. Patients are usually able to go home the same day.

Laparoscopy is often used for:

• Ovarian cysts
• Tubal or ectopic pregnancies
• Pelvic pain or endometriosis
• Tubal ligation
